Falling into Life
"There is no such thing as stability or steadiness; in life as in art volatility is sovereign. What would happen if we let ourselves vacillate and stumble? This journey of endless falling and failing is one of joyful surrender. Can we surprise ourselves? As clowns, fools, and jesters, we fumble around and cheerfully embrace our mistakes to leave the path open for unforeseen movement, fortuitous momentum, and serendipitous encounters. Drawing upon tools and techniques from tantra and devised theatre, we explore intimacy with self, other, and spirit through all dimensions of being. Beyond apparent differences in identity or gender, we seek to delve a little deeper into our raw human animality. With a bit of luck and a bit of love, as both the actors and the spectators of life, we might find beauty in the oft-dizzying play of creation. "
