Caring for a stumbling body (Morning Class)
Stumbling is an incredible source of inspiration. The moment we loose control, anything can happen. That’s all good and well, as long as we don’t hurt ourselves in the proces. In these class- es I will guide you in somatic warmups of your body-mind. We’ll work individually for some of the time. Using gentle ways - that have their origins in yoga, Noguchi taiso, Paula method, Rolfing and Mentastics - to get into connection with the body and start stumbling somewhat consciously. We will shake, melt and fall into and out of free-flow yoga poses, delicious stretches, martial art rolls and many other types of movement. On the way the body and mind can open up to recognise: possibilities to move into unexplored directions and territory, the silence that occurs when following the body’s dance with gravity, the infinite possibilities present in the moment just before, etc... The other half of the time we’ll to explore bodywork together. Other’s hands, weight and attention will help us to send some love the parts that need it. The best way to see patterns and allow them to open is by letting someone else do the moving for us.

Morning Classes
I finished a university degree in cultural anthropology and conflict studies - while teaching snowboard- ing and gymnastics for a living. My love for life, people and teaching has since then developed towards holistic practices like ayurveda, yoga, bodywork and other forms of somatic movement and dance. For the past 13 years I have studied, practiced and taught these disciplines as well as contact improvisation, butoh, tantra, Rolfing, Trager approach, and some EFT, BMC and Paula method. I make a living of massage therapy and movement classes.
