All My Beautiful Dilletantes

"All My Beautiful Dilletantes" is a boot camp reversed and speculative exploratorium on the palpable. Instead of optimisation we devote ourselves to dilletantism and all those beautiful dilletantes the organism, muscle, bones and it's cheecky brain provides. Maybe set in a LARP-like experiential space, maybe excavating laws of nature, physically exhausted human organisms explore the productivity of being sloppy and clumsy. Deprived from the responsibility of the awake, new possibilities emerge: Curious speculative research activism, a deep surrendering to exhaustion, or a silent listening? Everything is welcome. The lab analyses basic concepts, parameters and clichés of the cadaver sciences of so called somatics, experiential anatomies, touch- and bodywork in order to playfully exaggerate, amplify and unlearn them--at least a bit. Conceptions of intention, awareness, presence, the unintentional, structure, choreography, dramaturgy, skill, quality, technique, body handling, gravity, and force are challenged.

Dropping, Dynamics and Dissent: Careful, this could mess with your phantasies. In this short workshop we are going to examine the obsolete dualisms of D/s dynamics. We are exploring the fearful figure of the the brat, the verse, and the switch (or the witch). By learning to analyse and create or resist and subvert the construct of expecation and supposedly given power dynamics. No is our mantra. No, to shortened dualisms. No to protocol. No to obedience. A lusty „hello“ to struggle, dissent and––funishment!
